Aston Martin DBS in “infra-red” this is color we certainly do not see often enough.

This car has lately become my “dream-car” of choice. For the longest time, it was the Porsche 911. Then the Ferrari F430. Not anymore.

However, if we are really “dreaming” then I would probably have a garage full of cars (new and old) and not just one supercar. Maybe I’ve been watching Iron Man too much.

World Debut of BMW’s Gran Coupe concept.

I love the subtle aggressiveness of the new BMW design language. Clearly, there’s some inspiration from their competitors though. The lower front-fascia is very Audi RS5 and the side profile looks like an Aston Martin.

2011 Porsche Cayenne. Definitely more aggressive styling. And they are now introducing a Hybrid version (a 47hp electric motor nailed to a supercharged V6). Still not sure what I think of it.

When you go for a walk in, say, the woods, you’re using a more subtle “involuntary attention” when looking at things like sunsets or squirrels. When you’re in the city, you’re always avoiding that asshole bicyclist, stepping over that pile of human poo, or spending your brain power ignoring the Rottweiler barking at you in the window. Because your “direct attention” is always focused, your prefrontal cortex is always on overdrive, and you end up not being as good at things that you need “direct attention” for, like learning at school or solving problems you haven’t faced before or resolving conflict. In other words, if you don’t take some time to look at a sunset, your brain never gets a break, and that’s not good.
